Julian joins Minneapolis’ “The New Standards” for their holiday show from December 4th-5th 2015 in Minneapolis’ State Theatre.  He will also join them December 10th at Lincoln Center’s David Rubenstein Atrium for a free performance at 7:30.  The New Standards is a minimalist jazz trio formed in 2005 composed of Chan Poling (of The Suburbs,) John Munson (of Semisonic, Trip Shakespeare and The Flops,) and Steve Roehm (of Electropolis, Rhombus, and Billy Goat.)

Julian performs in a tribute to Joni Mitchell at Joe’s Pub:

As Joni Mitchell, the iconic songstress, poet, and painter, recovers from recent health issues in her home in Canada, we are sending her a musical get-well card from NYC.  Celebrated New York artists who have been influenced by her work are coming together to celebrate our lady of the canyon, featuring songs from the seminal album “Blue,” and the best of the rest of her incredible canon.

Come hear Joni as you know her and as you’ve never heard her, and join us in sending love and light her way.
